BANNED - Sir Ruel Kaiso Songs #bazoBEATS

Young calypso singer Chad 'Sir Ruel' Bowen has felt the heavy lash of censorship by both the state-owned Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation and Starcom Network's Voice of Barbados for his social commentary songs for Crop Over 2017. Both of his social commentary tracks, Not my Vote and Run Fuh Cover were banned by CBC but only Not My Vote was banned by VOB. Sir Ruel also said that Not My Vote was a song that he had entered for judging in the annual Pic-O-De-Crop competition.

Take a listen to the two banned tracks below and give us your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below! Do you think they deserve to be banned? #bazoBEATS
